Slimey Things release new single and announce last show before hiatus

About to up sticks and decamp to the studio to record their new album, every bodies favourite sci-fi rock band Slimey Things have announced their final show before to go on hiatus, releasing the final single from their last album Quantum Reality TV, Am I Weird?

The show is Featherfest 2011, the all out prog-fest organised by local not-for-profit record label and promotions company Bird’s Robe Collective, headlined by Japan’s Ruins-alone and also featuring former Mr Bungle member Bär McKinnon‘s band Umlaut before they head off to support Secret Chiefs 3 on their South American tour. With Slimey Things not to mention a who’s who of local prog talent, the show is sure to send the band off with a bang into the studio.
