Slipknot Announce Australian Headline Tour

We hope you dirty maggots heeded their warning and prepared for hell, because hell is now on its way. Slipknot have announced headline Australian tour dates, returning to their pulsating fan base since their last jaunt as part of Soundwave 2015.

Slipknot will head out on a tour of the East Coast of Australia this October, before they head out on their biggest U.S. tour to date and not long after their newly announced joint mega festival Ozzfest Meets Knotfest.

Word of an impending tour kicked up some time ago, but things revved up once people started spotting posters of the band members with the message “Prepare For Hell” popping up on Australian streets.

The band have been touring frigging hard behind their current album .5: The Gray Chapter. Upon their return, the album will have passed its second birthday, but as this will be their second time in market for this cycle, we have high hopes that the band will be mixing it up for us.

Considering Corey Taylor’s recent comments about pumping the brakes for a minute, this could be the last headline run from the band in sometime, and rightly so, surely they need to wash those masks by now.

Catch tour dates and ticketing details below.
