The Smiths Are Reissuing A Deluxe Edition Of ‘The Queen Is Dead’

The Smiths have announced the track-listing and full details for a ‘Super Deluxe’ reissue of their iconic record The Queen Is Dead.

Originally released in 1986 to critical acclaim, the album was the third LP by the British rock outfit and has consistently been listed in the best albums to have been released in the ’80s.

As the forum Morrissey-Solo points out, the new deluxe edition of The Queen Is Dead was available briefly to pre-order through Amazon’s UK store recently.

It has since been taken down, but not before screenshots were taken of the full track-listing, which looks set to include a disc of re-mastered tracks from the original record as well as several demos and b-sides as well.

The Smiths’ official Facebook page has also been teasing the release, posting several pictures of the band over the past month with the caption #TQID, see below.
