Snoop Lion To Invest In Celtic Football Club

Snoop Lion continues to branch out into new and unexpected ventures. This time the reborn reggae entertainer is looking to invest in Glasgow’s Celtic Football Club. As reported by NME, Snoop is looking to buy shares and gain a seat on the football club’s board.

“I’ve got a lot of interest in soccer. It’s not a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in sports teams but it is a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in soccer teams. I see how passionate Celtic fans are about their team and I could see myself making an investment if any of the board wanted to sell,” revealed Snoop.

If Snoop is successful in his bid to join the Celtic Football Club’s board, he plans to “bring a bit of Snoop to things” and also make an offer to David Beckham in an effort to lure him away from the LA Galaxy.

“I would try and sign him up for a season, but he is pretty happy over here. LA is home for him and his family now, but I would have to at least make that offer to my boy.”

This year saw Snoop evolve from Dogg to Lion after the accomplished rapper decided to record a reggae album. Snoop Lion’s debut record Reincarnation is expected in February. You can check out the clip for lead single La La La below.
