Soul singer Charles Bradley has died from cancer at the age of 68.
In a statement, his management say, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles Bradley.
“Mr. Bradley was truly grateful for all the love he’s received from his fans and we hope his message of love is remembered and carried on. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
Bradley launched his career in 2011 with his debut album, and was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year.
Bradley was forced to cancel a number of tour dates earlier this year, after cancer had spread to his liver.
Bradley last toured Australia in 2015, and released his final album Changes in 2016.
