Southbound 2013 Dates Announced

Written by John Ritchie on June 20, 2012

Soundbound festival will return to Perth in January 2013, with organisers revealing the official dates today. The music and arts camping festival will take place at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, Busselton on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th January 2013.

Promoters issued a statement via their Facebook page today:

“Good morning Southbounders! We’re very very excited to give you a little bit of a sneak peak. Get your circling hand ready because Southbound 2013 dates have been set. Mark it in your calendars – Friday, 4th and Saturday, 5th January 2013. YEAH!!!”

The Southbound lineup usually gets announced at the same time as Falls Festival, with both sharing headliners. Organisers have already stated that the Falls Festival will be drip fed this year as bands are confirmed, so it looks like we’ll see a similar situation with Southbound 2013.
