Splendour 2014 Set Times, Maps & Transport Info

In a sign that our Splendour days are nearly upon us, organisers of Splendour In The Grass have released the set times for the Byron Bay Festival, giving punters just the right amount of time to meticulously plan their festival schedules.

Fans keens to see Outkast reunited in all their glory will have to head to the main amphitheatre stage for the final set on Friday evening. While Two Door Cinema Club and Lily Allen will respectively claim that coveted final spot on the Saturday and Sunday night.

Clashes are of course inevitable, and the release of the playing times leaves punters having to chose between seeing Foster the People or Danny Brown on Sunday, 27th July or between Kelis and London Grammar on Friday, 25th July.

Organisers have also announced the Splendour 2014 Souvenir Program, available right this very minute for download to your iPad. It includes loads of interviews and interesting tidbits about Splendour artists as well a heap of pictures. There are also maps to study, playing times and a bunch of other handy information.

If there are any last minute changes, the iPad program will be updated automatically so festival goers can be assured they will have the latest info. Splendour will again be implementing a car pass system that will encourage carpooling. Car passes are on sale now through moshtix.

Shuttle services will run between surrounding locations including Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and North Byron Parklands. Head to the Splendour In The Grass website for the up to date bus schedule and all extra information.

Earlier this week, festival organisers announced that Telstra had reneged on a promise to provide Splendour 2014 with free portable cell towers, leaving its customers at Splendour without mobile coverage. However, Telstra has since assured it will provide Splendour with two Cell on Wheels (COW) towers, meaning punters with Telstra will have 3G mobile coverage – voice and data – at the event.
