UPDATE: Splendour In The Grass 2017 has now sold out, but ticket resale details have also been announced.
ORIGINAL STORY: When Splendour In The Grass announced its massive 2016 lineup, it was pretty much inevitable that the annual Byron Bay festival would sell out within minutes.
Now finally there is some respite for those who won’t be satisfied simply by a Splendour sideshow. The resale platform opened at 9am AEST today on Moshtix, and will run all the way through to midnight on Monday, 18th July.
The official Splendour In The Grass resale is the only place where you can buy and sell Splendour tickets so that names and dates of birth can be transferred officially between buyer and seller. For more information on the resale head to the Moshtix support page here.
This morning car passes and tent passes also went on sale. Car passes are available for punters wishing to camp with their car, and those planning on bringing RVs or caravans will also need to fork out the $60 fee for a car pass.
Also available is a tent pass, for anyone happy to park their car in the mass parking lot, and camp in the tent-only campground which is closer to the festival entrance itself. These are just $30, however with all car and tent passes there is a $30 redemption voucher available for anyone arriving with three or more passengers.
Day parking passes are necessary for anyone driving for one day only, and can be pre-purchased for $30 per day for Friday, Saturday or Sunday only.
