Alright ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to put aside your civil behaviour and prepare to do whatever is necessary, and claw at who ever’s face is in your way to get your hands on Splendour In The Grass 2013 tickets. From 9am Thursday, 2nd May it will be a total free for all as most of the population of the east coast attempts to gain admission to the Byron Bay event.
Splendour organisers have made a strong point noting that there will be a horde of potential ticket holders heading to the site and calling up the hotline so the potential for things to crash or slow is very high. It’s important to remain calm at these times and remember just because you don’t get through straight away, it doesn’t mean all hope is lost.
Once you’re through, you will need to provide specific details including full names and dates of birth. So if you’re buying for yourself and your group get everything ready before hand to avoid last-minute freak outs.
As you’d expect for the 3-day event, there are an array of ticketing options, each more exciting (and expensive) than the next. For another year, the festival is offering a $3 carbon offset fee for those who are worried about the environmental footprint they will leave. Also worthy of note, the camping tickets give you a 5-day window to access the grounds, you can arrive on whichever day you choose.
