Those who succeed in the modern-day paper chase are promised double weekend passes to the festival.

The hunt will kick off this Friday, 26th April with those in Byron Bay and Melbourne having the first crack. Saturday, 27th April will be the Gold Coast’s turn then, come Monday, 29th April, it’s Sydney and Brissy’s time to shine.

You can check out some of the clues that dropped last year for a bit of an idea of what you can expect. By our account, the whole thing usually kicks off around midday on each city’s allocated date.

For instance, Melbourne peeps were told “Is that the Eiffel Tower? Looks similar & I shall aspire to one day cross the river 2 take a closer look #splendourinthegrass”. Which could mean just about anything, really. Splendour revealed after that particular clue that “the Melb tickets were hidden at Birrarung Marr, next to Federation Square”.

So yeah, it’s no cakewalk, this SITG Twitter hunt, but check out how stoked the guys below were after winning last year! You could be one of them this year!
