Australia’s only people’s choice film awards… IF Awards are voted by the public and attended by the public!

TV coverage of awards events like the Emmys and the Oscars consistently are watched by millions looking to get a glimpse of their favourite stars. Now Sydney film fans have the chance again to experience the Australian film industry’s coolest and most irreverent event alongside their favourite stars at Sydney’s Luna Park on Wednesday 18th November. The Inside Film Awards attended in previous years by stars like Baz Luhrmann, Toni Colette, Geoffrey Rush, Eric Bana and Nicole Kidman, offers a relaxed fun night where film industry insiders and fans come together to celebrate a great year in Australian film.

Ticket holders kick the night off with pre drinks and canapé’s under the stars, enjoying the picturesque views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. All guests then experience the awards ceremony first hand in the Big Top, where they are seated amongst the who’s who of the entertainment industry for the 90 minute show. To top the night off, ticket holders are then invited to celebrate alongside the winners at the after-party in the Crystal Palace. For just $200 (Regular Price) or $150 (Film Industry Price) all food, beverages and entertainment are included…and not a VIP section in sight.

Back in Sydney to begin a second decade in 2009 the Inside Film Awards celebrate and champion Australian film and creative talent as decided by the general public. This year boasts a number of well known eligible films such as Baz Luhrmann’s international blockbuster Australia, the Cannes Film Festival winning tale of young love in an aboriginal community Samson and Delilah, Oscar winning creator of Harvie Krumpet’s new animated sensation Mary & Max and the critically acclaimed true story of Australian journalists killed in the East Timor village of Balibo.

Tickets are onsale now at www.ifawards.com/Tickets and are for over 18 years only.
