Stereophonics Announce Australian Tour, July 2013

For the first time since 2010, the time-tested Stereophonics will be returning to Australia for a run of headlining dates. Bringing with them their latest studio album Graffiti On The Train, the shows will be a mix of old and new, with a total of 8 full-length records worth of tracks to piece together their setlist.

As it turns out, Graffiti On The Train was a case of the hard-earned eighth album. Composed during a self-imposed ban on touring, the band put all their focus and energy into the release. For a band with some 21-odd years experience under their belt, there are few situations in which they would be in uncharted waters but this album is the maiden release to be facilitated through their very own record label.

Their return to Australia was confirmed earlier this year, though back then their arrival was said to be late April, early May. Clearly, that never happened but July should be just as rad, given the amount of international talent who will be in town during that month.

It will be a quick stop off this time round with the band hitting Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne only. Check out the video for first single and title track from the new album Graffiti On The Train below.

Tickets go on sale 10am Monday, 13th May.
