Sticky Fingers Keep Things Close To Home In Video For New Single ‘Our Town’

Sticky Fingers have kept things close to home for their brand new single Our Town. The track is another blissed out homage to the band’s inner Sydney stomping ground, coming hand in hand with a video that follows the band as they re-group for a cheeky gig at the ol’ Lord Gladstone.

When held up against previous single Outcast At Last, Our Town comes off as a far more restrained affair, seeing the boys slow their row to really work their way in to the grooves. A few hours (minutes?) of walking through Newtown, the five-piece assemble to belt out a performance of the tail end of the track for a few locals. S/O to my boy Neal Hunt on that flawless acting.

While the band have certainly covered the top of Newtown / the Inner West before, Our Town seems to be more about the lazy Thursday evenings of Newtown rather than the riotous Friday nights or weekends. Mind you, those who live in Newtown know full well they could open their front door at any given time and see the below.

StiFi ar gearing up to release their new album which saw them heading off to Thailand to work with producer Dann Hume.

Off the back of their sophomore album, Land Of Pleasure, the band already had a serious bunch of feathers in their cap including critical acclaim and chart positions, international demand and slots on just about any festival that we’ve had.
