Adelaide’s rockin’ mini-festival Stonecutters has announced its 2016 return, with loose units like Dune Rats, The Bennies and The Hard Aches topping this year’s bill, so it’s about time we removed The Stone of Shame and attached The Stone of Triumph.
Now in its second year, Stonecutters has doubled in size for 2016, and will now take place over two days this September, at a new home in Adelaide’s historic Queen’s Theatre.
Elsewhere on the festival’s 2016 lineup are the likes of rockers Alex Lahey, The Hard Aches, Grenadiers and the event’s very first international band, American punks Rozwell Kid. More local acts and DJs are still to be announced, and the schedule for each day of the festival will be revealed on Wednesday, 20th July, but until then you can catch the festival’s first string of acts, below.
Stonecutters launched last year, and featured sets from headliners Bad//Dreems and The Peep Tempel. This year’s Stonecutters meeting is sure to be even bigger, so make sure you’re wearing your Stonecutters t-shirt so that everyone knows who you are.
