Stream: New Smashing Pumpkins Record ‘Oceania’

Written by Marc Zanotti on June 12, 2012

The good blokes at Antiquiet have brought to our attention that, although not officially released until next week, Smashing Pumpkins have teamed up with iTunes to offer a free stream of new record Oceania right now.

Billy Corgan and band have certainly been making the headlines of late in the lead-up to Oceania. After the Smashing Pumpkins were announced as one of the headlining acts for this year’s Splendour in the Grass, Corgan cautioned fans not to expect a ‘greatest hits’ set.

Earlier today Music Feeds reported that Corgan didn’t hold back in giving his opinion on Radiohead during a soon-to-be published interview with Anitquiet.

“I’ll piss on fuckin’ Radiohead, because of all this pomposity…Obviously there’s a level of reverence, but there’s also a level of intelligence to even know what to piss on. Cause I’m not pissing on Rainbow. I’m not pissing on Deep Purple”, said Corgan.

Hurry up though, not sure how long this stream will last.
