Stream Northlane’s New Album ‘Node’ Ahead Of Its Release

Sydney metalcore outfit Northlane are set to drop their third studio album Node this Friday, but the band are now streaming the entire record online for their devoted fans to enjoy.

In a recent chat with Music Feeds, Northlane guitarist Josh Smith said Node‘s diversity will surprise listeners.

“It’s definitely got the biggest dynamic of any record that we’ve done before, both within the songs and between the songs – it’s a lot more varied than everything on Singularity was, and Discoveries too – so I think people should listen to it without any expectation,” Smith said.

In his review of Node, Music Feeds’ Brenton Harris said: “Node sees Northlane reimagine their sound, tweaking the progressive metalcore template that had become their calling card, stripping back the orchestrated chaos to introduce a more melodic progressive post-hardcore dynamic that accentuates new frontman Marcus Bridge’s talents.”

Northlane are set to announce their biggest-ever Australian tour for Node on 27th July, just a few days after the album is released. The tour is promising “quite a big lineup” to boot.
