Sum 41 Pull Out of Sydney Sideshow, But Show Will Still Go Ahead

Sum 41 have pulled out of their Soundwave Sideshow because lead singer Deryck Whibley is ill. Tickets can be refunded, but you’ll still be able to see The Blackout, There For Tomorrow and Veara.

The Metro Theatre website states:

We regret to inform that Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley has taken ill and will be unable to perform at the band’s sideshow engagements.

Ticket holders to the Metro show tonight and the Billboard show tomorrow night can still attend as The Blackout, There For Tomorrow and Veara will be performing as scheduled and the remaining Sum 41 band members will be at the sideshows to meet face to face with fans and to do a signing.

For those wishing to attend the shows Soundwave is offering all current ticket holders $20 off the ticket price.

For those wishing not to attend the shows tickets can be taken back to the point of purchase for a full refund.

Looks like Sydneysiders are getting a bad run of luck this week.. so far we’ve had Murderdolls cancel their Soundwave Sideshow, and Slayer cancel their appearance and Sydney Soundwave.
