Keeping their cards close to their chest, electronic powerhouse Swedish House Mafia have dropped a massive hint as to who can expect one final tour. Three clues were mentioned in a recent tweet, all of which scream Australia.
So, while it would be wildly unprofessional of me to confirm that it’s actually happening, I’m going to stay safe and lock in a 99% chance that it’s happening. The tweet is addressed to those whose day is currently ending, i.e. us, well, because of the time, a cryptic reference to what can only be the Opera House and a name check to what has got to be Bondi Beach.
You can check out the tweet below and come to your own conclusions, as I’m sure many countries in the southern hemisphere could be applied, maybe. Actually…not at all. Let’s face it, they’re coming down.
The music world has been abuzz with chatter over the outfit after it was announced that they would be calling it a day. It was a bitter sweet moment for fans as the news came hand in hand with the farewell track and one of the best songs we’ve heard in years, Don’t You Worry Child.
Last here for Future Music Festival, Australian Swedish House Mafia fans can now breathe a collective sigh of relief: it’s looking as though we are now included in the One Last Tour list, booyah!
If its the end of your day….dot. If you sing Opera at Home….dot. If you can Bond on a Beach…dot. #OneLastTour
