Swedish Symphonic Metal Legends Therion Announce First Ever Australian Tour

Swedish metal orchestra Therion have been blazing the trail of symphonic metal since they first spawned as a death metal act in 1988, and to celebrate their 30th birthday, they’ve decided to embark on their first ever Australian tour!

They’ll be bringing their trademark occult theatrics to venues in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this September, performing scenes from their metal opera Beloved Antichrist as well as a ‘best-of’ set.

And they won’t be coming alone. Therion will be joined at all dates by mysterious masked international metal act, The Devil.

The Devil lay claim to creating an entirely new genre within metal music, using “historical and political conspiracy laden samples in place of traditional vocals which reveals a powerful message encoded within the music”.

Tickets to these very unique and sure-to-be epic shows are on sale now, with Limited VIP meet and greet tickets available too.
