Tame Impala Take Out Rolling Stone Album Of The Year Once More

Tame Impala are totally killing it. The Perth psych-rockers have taken out the highly coveted Rolling Stone Album of the Year award for the latest album, claiming the prize they once held in 2011.

Lonerism, the band’s most recent release, has been highly praised by just about everything and everyone. NME were bowled over by the release, and the good times keep rolling for Tame with Kevin Parker accepting the prize.

Some may recall back in 2011 when the group first earned the accolade for their debut Innerspeaker.

The Rolling Stone Awards are currently in full swing. The Presets just claimed Single of the Year, and more updates are sure to come through. This year boasts a pretty impressive cast, with Nine MSN reporting guests of honour such as Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Alabama Shakes and Crystal Castles.
