Inspired by the possibility the future holds, jetpacks and alike, the team from Poncho has declared that 2013 will be time to party.
Poncho is out to prove their self-proclaimed taste-making abilities and have put together a list of some bands and DJs that they are certain will explode in an otherwise unforeseeable future of the world, they then took that list and made it into a lineup for their Twenty-Thirteen Party. Though their previous predictions that “everyone will shave off their eyebrows and dress entirely in tinfoil” might be a little off the mark, they have a good thing going with their talent selection.
The night will include music from a hyper-charismatic, one-man disco Pikatunes alongside the likes of Client Liaison, a classy, 80s Australiana-flavoured, après-skiing outfit. King Gizzard will be tracking down a DJ set in anticipation of their September release as well as the most diverse, most party, most technically proficient DJs in Australia’s ‘indie DJ’ the Smoking Toddlers. The I Oh You DJ’s will be capping off the gig with their unique brand of party stylings few can replicate.
