Your band might be doing good, but we doubt you’re doing drinking Grey Goose vodka straight from the bottle good. Such is the case for homegrown post-hardcore mad dogs The Amity Affliction. The band have conquered the world time and again, and for their latest video clip, Greens Ave., the boys show us how they do it.
The track, featured on their third album Chasing Ghosts is a homage to those left burnt over the years, as you can tell from the lyrics, but the clip is all about the good times of the moment. Daytime drinking on beaches, playing shows, drinking beer, eating all sorts of exotic, deep-fried cuisine, drinking more beer, blowing shit up, then blowing up beers they’re drinking – the 9-to-5 grind sure is tough for The Amity Affliction.
You wouldn’t think the band could get any popular but Chasing Ghosts saw them enter levels seen by few of their peers, let alone other bands from Brissy. The album dropped in August last year and doesn’t seem to be done producing well-charting singles.
