The Basics Release ‘So Hard For You’ Video Clip, Add 3rd Melbourne Show

Ahead of their national tour kicking off in September, the Wally De Backer fronted The Basics have released the official video clip for their latest single, So Hard For You.

The clip depicts an array of different faces synced to the lyrics and if you pay extra attention you’ll notice band members Kris Schroeder (bassist), Tim Heath (guitarist), American singer songwriter Harry Nilsson and of course Gotye himself. The track was originally featured on the group’s latest rarities collection Leftovers, which dropped earlier this year following the 2012 best of, Ingredients.

The band stepped back from touring commitments in 2010 with its members finding success in other creative projects but rumours began to spread fast that a reunion was in the works for this year, and they were right. Confirmation of the band’s return has sent fans nuts with 2 of the 3 Melbourne shows now totally sold out.

The new show will take place at the Corner Hotel Sunday, 27th September.
