London based quartet The Boxer Rebellion have just announced they’ve completed work on a new album the follow up to last year’s hugely successful and self-produced and released album Union. Working with producer Ethan Johns, famous for his work with Kings Of Leon and Ryan Adams, the album to be titled The Cold Still has been described by singer Nathan Nicholson as their best yet, and sees the band realising a dream by working with Johns.
“Ethan had been our dream producer for years, so when we were asked to make a list of people to produce the third album my list consisted of one name,” guitarist Todd Howe explained.
The Cold Still will be released Feb 7th 2011 on Absentee Records.
