The Jungle Giants Announce ‘Every Kind Of Way’ Tour, Share New Video

Brisbane indie-rockers The Jungle Giants are getting back into the swing of things in the lead up to their as-yet-untitled second studio album, with a national tour now lined up in support of their latest single, Every Kind Of Way.

The Jungle Giants’ Every Kind Of Way Tour will see the band take to the road this May to perform old favourites and tease fans with tastes of their next studio album, which is due out in August.

The album has been recorded in a makeshift home studio in rural South East Queensland, with The Jungle Giants once again teaming up with producer Magoo, who produced the group’s 2013 debut album Learn To Exist.

“It was a no brainer to go with him again,” says The Jungle Giants frontman Sam Hales. “He’s like a family member. We’re all so comfortable with him that we don’t feel like there’s any wall between us creatively. We usually like the same things, he’s super-patient, and he’s willing to get weird.”

The latest piece of new music from The Jungle Giants camp, Every Kind Of Way, has now received the music video treatment. Directed by Brisbane filmmaker Michaela Holmes, the Every Kind Of Way video (below) tells the age-old story of ‘boy-meets-girl’, but with an unexpectedly surrealist twist.

The Jungle Giants’ Every Kind Of Way Tour will be supported by Brisbane band Moses Gunn Collective and Melbourne lads Foreign/National. The tour begins in Melbourne on Friday, 15th May. Full tour and ticket details are available below.

Every Kind Of Way is set for release on Friday, 10th April.

UPDATE 17/04/15: The Jungle Giants have added a second Melbourne show to their upcoming Every Kind Of Way Tour, after selling out the first. The new show will take place at Howler on Thursday, 14th May. View updated tour details, below.
