The Monkees Reveal Their 2016 Australian Tour Will Be Their Last

Don’t be a Sleepy Jean when it comes to getting your opposable thumbs on tickets to The Monkees’ forthcoming Australian tour, because it turns out it’s going to be your last chance to see the iconic pop act live down under.

OG band members Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork have announced that the tour, which kicks off tomorrow in Brisbane, will mark their final ever shows in Australia.

The Monkees’ Aussie curtain call will also toast their 50th anniversary as a group, and see the surviving members perform all of their biggest hits from across the decades, including some fresh tunes off their latest album Good Times. But we all know the band were always about more than just music alone…

The veteran act will be performing eight dates across Australia, including one in Tassie. Catch all the details below.
