The Offspring: Rare 1986 Demos Released

Written by Brayden Darke on June 21, 2011

Punk rock band The Offspring’s European Fansite has posted three demo tracks from a recording session in 1986. At the time the line up consisted of Dexter Holland (Vocals), Noodles (Guitar), Greg K (Bass) and James Lilja (Drums).

The songs were originally from a hard to find 42 track compilation tape Subject To Blackout, which also featured bands Excel, No Fraud, SDT, A Number Of Things, Manimal, Youthquake, Desecration, TSA, Conflicting Interests, US Distress, Attitude Adjustment, The Uprising, COTC and A Child’s Trust In God.

The tracks have been remastered by fan site owner, ANDITKO who claims the tracks now have less noise, better EQ, better volume and are just overall better quality.
