The Rocks’ Australia Day Live Music Lineup Announced

This Australia Day public holiday The Rocks precinct in Sydney will be transformed into a live music hub featuring free performances from some of Australia’s best bands and entertainers including Thelma Plum, Saskwatch and Dustin Tebbutt.

From midday to early evening on Monday 26th January the precinct will come alive with live performances and events. The Green at First Fleet Park will host the likes of nine-piece, soul outfit Saskwatch and indie folk singer Dustin Tebbutt as well as Thelma Plum, The Bombay Royale and Benny Walker.

The Laneway at Atherden Street will showcase folk trio Little May, plus the electronic beats of Fishing with special guest Al from Cloud Control. Central Coast folk duo Winterbourne will also play as will Sydney bluegrass boys The Morrisons and pop ‘n’ rollers The Lulu Raes.

Additionally, Australia Day at The Rocks will also feature a host of other events including a 10-kilometre wheelchair race along George Street and a performance of the musical Sound Garden.
