The Rubens Unveil New Single And National Tour Dates

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 6, 2012

Continuing on from a glorious run of sold-out shows, and music that never fails to connect with the audience, The Rubens have today announced not only the release of their new single The Gun, but also plans to take their brand new album all across the country.

Produced in New York with Grammy award-winning producer David Kahne, The Gun is a bluesy swag-packed tune, which captures the energy and charm of The Rubens and is the perfect offering off the album to fans who have time and time again proven their loyalty to the New South Welshmen. The Gun will follow the debut release off the album Don’t Ever Want to Be Found, which continues to be a smash hit on the airwaves.

Now with the two singles fully unleashed, the band will be hitting the highways of Australia with their self-titled debut album, which is set to drop September 14, and taking with them homegrown songstress Bertie Blackman for the majority of dates. Now with big things expected of them, The Rubens have kicked it up a notch, and the below dates will be the perfect opportunity to witness that live.
