The Shins Drop Another New Song ‘The Fear’ Live

We’re nearing the release of The Shins forthcoming record Heartworms and they keep dropping new material from it.

They’ve already shared ‘Dead Alive’ and ‘Name For You’ but now they’ve unveiled another song ‘The Fear’ while performing live on radio show A Prairie Home Companion.

As Stereogum report, the James Mercer-led band performed for a live broadcast from Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.

They delivered old tracks ‘Gone For Good’ and ‘Saint Simon’ as well as new releases ‘Name For You’ and ‘The Fear’.

You can stream ‘The Fear’ below or you can listen to the whole live performance here. The Shins perform around the 52 minute and 1 hour and 19 minute mark but if you listen to the whole thing you’ll hear some Regina Spektor too.

The Shins’ new record Heartworms will be out on 10th March.
