The Superjesus To Reform For Special One-off Gig

The Superjesus have announced that the band is reforming for a special one-off gig to take place February 1, 2013 at The Governor in Hinmarsh, Adelaide. The news comes after continued support from the band’s fanbase despite years of inactivity from The Superjesus.

The South Australian act went on indefinite hiatus in 2004 to pursue individual projects. The last album from The Superjesus was Rock Music in 2003. During that time lead singer Sarah McLeod has released solo material and currently fronts three-piece Screaming Bikini.

In regards to the reunion show, McLeod states that The Superjesus have long tried to get back together to perform for their fans, but work and geographical barriers stood in the way.

“It’s something we’ve always wanted to do but with Paul living in Washington all these past years it never seemed possible, once he returned and we started to entertain the thought the energy came flooding back within the four of us and it was clear that it was ON!” stated McLeod.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 30 and are available though Moshtix and Venuetix.
