The Tongue Gears Up To Release New Album ‘Surrender To Victory’

Having just scratched the surface of what he can do with previous releases, The Tongue has returned with a new album, which is hailed as his finest masterpiece yet. Boasting 15-tracks and an impressive list of guest artists, Surrender To Victory is the best taste of what The Tongue can do so far, and will officially drop Friday, 29th March.

A whole lot of thought has gone into the release, from the first lines performed by Ngaiire to the verses with Hilltop Hoods’ Suffa to the jams with Thundamentals, and as the track list progresses, names such as Illy, Tom Scott and Spit Syndicate’s Jimmy Nice. Of course The Tongue is never too far off, pulling it all together in one focused beam of Aussie hip hop radness.

At the helm in the studio was Cam Bluff, who brought together the best of what’s coming out of the states, with some local buzzworthy heat. The final product was a totally fresh palate for The Tongue to begin. Live shows are sure to follow the release, which you should be keeping an eye out for, given that the MC’s resume includes lines such as ‘Sold out The Sydney Opera House’.
