The Zoobombs & Mesa Cosa Announce Australian Tour August, 2012

Written by Marc Zanotti on July 17, 2012

Japanesse quartet Zoobombs are boarding a plane to bring their clanging banging brand of rock and roll to Australian audiences. Fronted by the overly stimulated Don Matsuo, Zoobombs’ live energy has impressed the likes of The Flaming Lips, who selected the band to open up for them during a tour of the States.

Joining Zoobombs on the road will be the equally as rocking outfit Mesa Cosa. Such big fans of Zoombombs, Mesa Cosa are actually bringing out the Japanesse band to Australia on their own dime.

From the sonic reputation of both these bands, the tour promises to be loud, thrashy, trashy and messy. Whether you’re an existing fan ready to rock out or a newcomer keen to jump about and sweat it up in a grungy mosh pit, mark this tour down as a must-see on your calendar.
