There’s Going To Be A Comedy Series Based On Notorious B.I.G.’s Rap Lyrics

Notorious B.I.G. has one of the most timeless legacies of anyone in music, and his impact continues to be felt today.

Now he’ll be honoured further via a new comedy series that American cable channel TBS has comissioned. The new series will be called Think B.I.G. and episodes will be created from the lyrics of some of Notorious B.I.G.’s greatest tracks.

Deadline reports that the series will follow “the misadventures of an inner-city teen desperately trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son.”

So, pretty much Sky’s The Limit.

TBS also announced they are currently producing a 10 episode digital series called Storyville, which will share some of the funniest and weirdest stories as told by musicians, actors, comedians and writers. Both projects will be produced by Mass Appeal.

Storyville and Think B.I.G. speak to the types of projects we will cultivate with Mass Appeal moving forward,” said Brett Weitz on behalf of TBS. “Mass Appeal is a leader in developing unique stories with diverse voices. There’s no better partner for us to connect with this vibrant, impassioned audience.”
