It’s bad news if you are a Thin Lizzy fan and wanted to see them somewhere other than the enormo-domes that they will play in when they warm the stage for Kiss and Motley Crue.
The band have cancelled all but one of their scheduled sideshows around Australia – with dates in Sydney, Penrith, Coolangatta, Townsville and Cairns all axed. You can check out the list of original dates here.
Thin Lizzy posted the news on their Facebook page over the weekend, citing “circumstances way beyond the band’s control” as the reason for shafting the gigs. Anyone who had tickets to the shows can grab a full refund at their point of purchase.
However, there is one Thin Lizzy sideshow that is still going ahead…and if you are in Melbourne, it is most certainly your lucky day. The band will still be playing at Billboard on Monday, March 4th, a day before their first gig at Etihad Stadium with Kiss and Motley Crue. Tickets are still available from the venue and from OzTix.
If you can’t make the trip to Melbourne, you can see Thin Lizzy with Kiss and Motley Crue at their massive shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Mackay. Click here for all the details on those shows.
