After just 20 minutes, tickets to this year’s edition of Meredith Music Festival have totally sold out, organisers have announced today.
Out of the festival’s 22-year history, this marks the 20th time ticket allocation has been exhausted. Sell-out status was really the only outcome given that Subscriber Ballot applications came in numbers higher than ever. That was just online; physical copies had punters-to-be lining up outside of stores first thing, lapping up the tix like they were going out of fashion.
There’s even been instances of good ol’ fashioned camp-outs, with many ultra keen festivalgoers arriving outside ticket outlets from 5pm Wednesday night until 9am the following morning. Respect.
If you were really looking forward to vibing in the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, don’t stress. Tickets are yet to go on sale for Golden Plains Lucky 7 (Mar 9-11 next year) but we suggest you sign up sooner rather than later.
