Tim Rogers And The Bamboos Are Making An Album Together

The soulful magic between Tim Rodgers and The Bamboos is getting the album treatment with the band announcing today that they are collaborating with the You Am I frontman once more, this time making an entire album together.

“Work on the full-length The Bamboos feat. Tim Rogers feat. The Bamboos feat. Tim Rogers album has started!,” reads a Facebook post from The Bamboos accompanied by a photo of frontman Lance Ferguson and Tim Rogers together.

The Bamboos and Rogers teamed up for the soulful track I Got Burned featured on the group’s 2012 album Medicine Man. Capitalising on the success of that track, both parties hitting the highways of Australia as a united front for the The Rock ‘N Soul Medicine Show, where they also covered a few You Am I classics as well as several originals penned by Ferguson and Rogers.

Tim Rogers reunited with another crew of musical friends of late, taking to the stage once more alongside Josh Pyke, Chris Cheney and Phil Jamieson for the The White Album tour, celebrating one of The Beatles’ most groundbreaking records. Rogers will head out on his own string of tour dates later this August.
