Tom DeLonge Hints At Surprise For 10th Anniversary Of Angels & Airwaves’ First Album

It seems that Tom DeLonge has been doing more than writing books to help you believe in UFOs and talking about his desire to re-join Blink-182 in interviews recently.

Whilst Blink-182 have officially released their first new music since DeLonge’s departure, DeLonge has been working on something special for the 10th anniversary of his Angels & Airwaves project’s first album.

“There will be a surprise for the 10th anniversary of We Don’t Need To Whisper #angelsandairwaves,” DeLonge posted on Facebook. The post was accompanied by a video of DeLonge playing the opening riff of Angels & Airwaves track Start The Machine on a tiny piano.

Given that We Don’t Need To Whisper was released on Monday, 23rd May it would make sense that this upcoming “surprise” would be announced on the same date.

As for what the announcement may be, commentors have speculated that a tour could be in the works, while others suggested that it could be a sign that an acoustic album is in the works.
