Tomorrowland 2012 Teams Up With YouTube For At-Home Partying Experience

Tomorrowland is one of those huge international festivals, in fact, one of the hugest ever, that the majority of Aussies will only ever hear about, or experience in some feverish dream. However, a recent deal with YouTube will give all those who couldn’t/wouldn’t front the ticket, accom, and flights to party at the Belgium festival a chance to still experience the madness.

This year’s Tomorrowland will feature the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, and some 400 other DJs for three full days of non-stop good times. Fans at home will be given the luxury of 7 hour live streams from all across the stage selection for each day of the event, which takes place the same time as SITG, July 27-29. Given the massive scale of Tomorrowland, artists are given basically an unlimited creative license to create environment on stage; the result is usually mind-blowing theatrics and stunning visuals. Punters will be able to experience all of this from the comfort of their laptops.

According to The Huffington Post, YouTube of course will stand to make a small killing from the banner ads on the site, which you can be sure will be in ample supply.

Last year the event drew 180,000, which is pretty impressive. You can check out the lineup for the event right here to get keen (it’s out of control). So why not save some dosh and spend the weekend indoors, after enough party favours I’m sure it’ll be just like you’re actually there.

It’ll be JUST like this…
