Tool To Include Exclusive ‘Seal Of Xatanitos’ In Just Five ‘Opiate’ Reissues

Tool have decided to embrace their inner Willy Wonka and put an added bonus inside a few super-special copies of the reissue of their debut EP Opiate – five ‘Seal Of Xatanitos’ certificates will be included inside copies of the Opiate rerelease, offering the recipients the chance to redeem them for an as-yet unknown mystery prize.

Anyone who gets a copy of the Opiate rerelease will have a decent-ish chance of getting one of the tickets – well, better odds than the millions of chocolate bars that people around the world scoffed to try and hang out with Willy and his Oompa Loompas. As we reported last month, the rerelease is being limited to 5,000 copies worldwide, with no preorders available, and will contain brand-new artwork and illustrations, and it won’t be available in stores. So, yeah – good luck.

But what on earth is a ‘Seal Of Xatanitos’ certificate exactly? And what will the lucky certificate finders get if they find one? According to Loudwire, those who find one will be gifted with a mystery prize, but they’ll only discover what it is when they present their ‘seals’.

If you’re a member of the ToolArmy, you can get your hands on a copy of the Opiate reissue tomorrow (US time). The EP will be made available to general public via the band’s website on 26th March.

Tool will be in Australia for a series of arena shows late next month and in early May. Second and final shows in Melbourne on 28th April and Sydney on 4th May are now on sale.
