Triple J Announce Unearthed Winners For Parklife 2012

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 31, 2012

The final piece has now been added to the already monster Parklife Festival lineup. Triple j have today announced their lineup of 5 unearthed gems to appear on the bill.

According to triple j, The Griswolds (Sydney), The Belligerents (Brisbane), Willow Beats (Melbourne), Koolta (Adelaide) and Bastian’s Happy Flight (Perth) were the cream of the crop on triple j’s Unearthed. Each artist has scored a wicked set to kick off at his or her home city.

The fresh talent will be joining heavy weights such as The Presets, Nero, and Passion Pit in what will probably be one of the loosest festivals yet. With a new Sydney venue (Centennial Park) and a pretty decent price on tix, Parklife is definitely one of the top dogs in the current festival market. Take a look at the full lineup here.
