Triple J Hottest 100 Album Out Friday

Well it’s here, the triple j Hottest 100 compilation is due this Friday, with eager listeners around the country hotly anticipation the arrival of the musical tome of 2011.

Featuring the likes of San Cisco, The Black Keys, M83, Skrillex, 360 as well, of course as Australia’s favourite son Gotye, this is the compilation’s 19th birthday, although unfortunately it doesn’t come with a goon sack and two pills. The compilation is also the first compilation to feature music by Lana Del Rey, Matt Corby and new music from Hilltop Hoods.

It’s always a special time when you can run home from Sanity, with your brand new copy, and have a listen to all the tracks that you’ve been listening to for the last year. I true Australian institution, this is a must have for any Australian music fan.
