Triple J ‘House Party Vol 2′ Due Out Tomorrow

Written by Sarah Bella on August 22, 2013

triple j are taking things to the next level by bringing their uber-successful Saturday night show House Party on a club tour but if you can’t make it there in the flesh, they’ve got the next best thing for you, with the House Party Vol 2 compilation being released tomorrow.

The follow up to last year’s first edition features brand-new sounds from names like Major Lazer, Shockone, Tame Impala, HAIM and The Bloody Beetroots, all mixed up by the mistress of House Party, Nina Las Vegas. As if that wasn’t enough for you to set up your very own one-man disco there’s also some classic tunage from Tiga and Riot In Belgium, as well as new mixes of much-loved tracks from The Presets and Empire Of The Sun.

Of course, if you want to do some booty shaking in person too, the House Party tour gets going from this Saturday in Sydney, starring Nina Las Vegas, Flight Facilities, Cassian, Tyler Touché and Wave Racer before heading to all the main stops around the country.

House Party Vol 2 is out Friday, 23rd August.
