Everybody loves a good blooper real. But there’s even more to love when said blooper real contains some of the biggest Aussie and international artists of 2016.
The legends at triple j have gifted us with a montage of outtakes from their bat-shit bonkers all-action blockbuster promo trailer for this year’s Hottest 100, featuring the likes of Alison Wonderland, Daniel Johns, Ice T, Courtney Barnett and stacks more.
It’s 2 minutes and 26 seconds of goofing, giggling, random pirate accents and other satisfyingly wacky shenanigans, with the added LOL-factor of many scenes being shot against dodgy green-screens before the final cinematic special FX were added.
In related and equally hilarious news, Gang Of Youths have mounted an extremely clever campaign to get you to vote for their track, Magnolia, in this year’s big countdown. They’ve enlisted popstar Nikki Minaj as an unofficial spokesperson and altered the lyrics of her rap-verse from Kanye West’s Monster to reflect a more Hottest 100-related theme.
