TZU: Cover Up Motel Farewell tour 2009

It’s been a magical past year for Melbourne’s hip-hop maestros TZU. Their Computer Love album stormed the ARIA Top 25, was nominated for the prestigious J Award (JJJ’s Album of the Year) and widely lauded by reviewers and fans alike. Throw in two sold out national tours and slots at a bevy of the country’s finest festivals, including crowning performances at the Falls and Big Day Out, and it was clearly a year to behold.

If that was not enough, the boys embarked on a massive remix project which saw their peers remixing the entire Computer Love album. The result is a limited edition double CD ‘Cover Up Motel’ – it includes the original album and a bonus remix album with new interpretations from Blue King Brown, Hermitude, Jan Skubiszewski (Jackson Jackson), Trials (Funkoars), Sulo (The Herd) and many more.

So as a way of sharing this new project ‘Cover Up Motel’ and saluting one and all with a Farewell To 2009 Tour, the TZU boys will head out on the road one more time before taking a well deserved break. How long? Who knows?

But be rest assured they plan to go out with an almighty bang with massive shows. Expect trademark big TZU parties as only they know how to throw….
