UNIFIED CEO Jaddan Comerford Launches New Label 1825 Records, Announces First Singing

Founder and CEO of music management monolith UNIFIED, Jaddan Comerford, and Wonder Management founder and director Matt Emsell have a wealth of experience working with and managing Australian artists, and the two have just announced that they’ll be combining forces for a brand new label called 1825 Records.

Comerford and Emsell have worked with a number of hugely successful Aussie acts, including 5 Seconds Of Summer, Matt Corby, Vance Joy and The Amity Affliction, and they’ve started this new label in an effort to showcase Australian acts on a global scale.

What’s more, the new Aussie label has already announced its first signing, Sydney singer-songwriter Xavier Dunn.

1825 Records has already secured deals with Atlantic Records in New York and Warner Music Australia, leaving it primed and ready to export some of the best Australian music has to offer overseas. While the label will be based in Sydney, Emsell is based in LA and Comerford works out of LA, leaving them perfect poised to connect acts to the US.
