Vampire Weekend Announce Cloud Control to Support Australian Shows

Written by John Ritchie on April 23, 2010

Sydney indie pop group Cloud Control will be supporting Vampire Weekend throughout their Australia tour commencing later this month.

From the press release:
Cloud Control has previously toured with Leader Cheetah and more recently Yves Klein Blue, winning audiences over with their dynamic, mesmerising live performances and natural charm on and off stage.

Their signature sound, consisting of warm harmonies and luscious melodies, will be the perfect complement to Vampire Weekend’s own eclectic rhythms and musical vibrancy.

If the immense popularity of Cloud Control’s first two singles ‘Gold Canary’ and ‘This Is What I Said’ are anything to go by, it’s no wonder the upcoming release of their debut album Bliss Release is hotly anticipated by music aficionados everywhere.

The addition of Cloud Control to all shows is further reason to secure your tickets now. Tickets to see Vampire Weekend in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide are currently on sale but act fast to avoid missing out.
