Vance Joy Announces 2016 AustralianTour

We’re hours away from finding out whether or not Vance Joy takes away an ARIA gong for ‘Album of the Year’ but regardless of that he’s announced he’s heading out on a national tour early next year.

The Aussie acoustic crooner will play three shows on the east coast in April next year including a gig at the iconic Sydney Opera House as part of the Fire And The Flood tour. They will be his biggest Australian headline shows to date so far.

It follows on from a huge year off the back of his debut album Dream Your Life Away which saw Vance play sold-out shows all around the world as well as support Taylor Swift on her massive 1989 tour. He’ll be showing Tay Tay his home crowd over the next few weeks as he supports her in massive Australian stadiums. The tour kicks off this weekend in front of a casual 72,000 people.

For the April 2016 shows, he’s bringing along Aussie band Holy Holy who have also had a big year. They released their debut album When The Storms Would Come and went on to play shows all around the world.

Tickets go on sale 9am local time Friday, 4th December and if you’ve switched on anything that emits sound in the past year you’ll now that Vance is a bit of a big deal right now so we’d be jumping on those tix quickly.
