Vance Joy Announces New Single, Reveals EP Plans

Written by Mike Hohnen on January 16, 2013

Fresh from inking a deal with Liberation Music, Melbourne-based artist James Keogh aka Vance Joy has announced plans to kick his very busy year with a brand new track, followed up by an EP and a stack of live shows.

Getting his name in people’s heads through Melbourne’s open night mic circuit, Vance Joy rose through the ranks organically, and before long was headlining and selling out renowned venues The Workers Club and The Toff in Town.

Very soon, Joy will be releasing the debut single From Afar lifted from his soon-to-be released EP God Loves You When You’re Dancing, which will drop soon after.

That is just a portion of the year ahead for Vance Joy, who will hit the road in support of Of Monsters & Men and Julia stone, before heading off to SXSW.

You can catch him performing at the below date before hand.
