Volcano Choir Play New Song ‘Valleyonaire’ In Boston

Sonorous voiced singer-songwriter Justin Vernon‘s Volcano Choir project wrapped up a 10-day leg of their current tour at New York City’s Webster Hall this past weekend, tantalising the crowd early in the set with a promise to play every song they know, including two previously unheard tracks.

The band’s Webster Hall set, part of their tour to promote their second studio effort Repave, released earlier this month, included two songs that did not appear on the new record or its predecessor, 2009’s Unmap.

The two unreleased songs were reportedly titled Valleyonaire and The Agreement respectively, and fans can check out Volcano Choir’s performance of the former during a Boston gig last week, below (song starts at 12:55).

The band were slated to make the trip Down Under this year for an exclusive performance at the troubled Harvest Festival, though with AJ Maddah himself saying the event is “99%” likely to be cancelled and bands on the lineup confirming it as kaput, this is now looking less likely.

UPDATE: Harvest Festival 2013 has been officially cancelled. More details here.
